The first thing I have to say is, "Wiki's Are Cool!". That statement is not very professional, but it is just how I feel. To me it is just so amazing that a site can be made so easily. I am from the old programming school where File Transfer Protocol (FTP) and a knowledge of Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML) was needed just to create and host a site like this.
Now with just a few quick screens we are able to create a fully functional, collaborative website chaulked full of features such as personalized themes, images, audio, web links, video and so much more. This sort of tool allows us to create a new door way to communication.
With this site we (as a community) can exchange ideas, thoughts, projects, data tables, photos, and a host of other items that create a true community communication experience.
This comment is from Gina. So can anyone tell from the assignment if the discussion about wikis is supposed to be hosted on a page like this or in the discussion links (tabbed above on the home page)? I got completely slammed for points on this on our google spaces and can't get an answer. Thoughts?
